"File" > "Save
As..." from the
menu.

In the "Save as type"
box choose

choose 3rd one that has

"Encoding"
box
choose

(4) Make sure "top text line
folder box" says "Desktop"
(not some other folder
name). (Later can move file to a
specific folder.)

Click "Save"
(now your done!)
(If you have already
saved that file in the past,
it's best to
first delete that file by
that same name, then re-save it.)
This all MUST be done to properly
read file
later,
and to preserve the
special symbols so they will show up correctly.
This way saves file as a
single page only, with embedded graphics,
and wherever you move the file, it is always readable.
The 5 steps make file
become a self-contained whole web page-like
doc.
