Dear Friends and Colleagues:

Our thanks to those of you took time out of your busy schedules to attend the fourth general meeting of the Atlanta Faith Based Alliance (AFBA).  We are moving forward.  Great strives were reached today shaping and mapping the direction in which the Steering Committee will lead the AFBA forward.  Attached is a questionnaire for you to submit your thoughts and wishes which will be used to shape and define who, what, why and how the AFBA effectively impact the LGBTQQI community in the greater Metro-Atlanta GA USA area.

In order to give the Steering Committee the time needed to evaluate your responses we must hear from all interested persons by April 26, 2008.  Our next general meeting will be held the second Saturday of June from 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm (location to be announced).  This will give the Steering Committee the month of May to evaluate your responses and come up with a draft of our vision and mission statement for your approval in June. The Steering Committee consists of the following members: Pastor Paul Turner, Rev. Tessie Mandeville, Rev. Maressa Pendermon, Sandra Larson, Edonna Koon, Jai Ashantii, Lorraine Fontana, Pastor Troy Sanders, Minister Adrian Bourie, Minister Bryan Edney, Dr. Dionne Bates, Rev. Dr. Kathi Martin (unconfirmed) and Minister Louis Hinton and at-large Bishop Yvette Flunder, Rev. Elder Jim Mitulski.  Please let me know if I have excluded anyone who desires to serve on this committee.

Thanks,

The Steering Committee
