Requirements for THIS church group... Things I hope you will do... And How to __Enter Notes __into Pages... see: A... below...

 

We are learning as we go, to be patient with each other. We are experimenting since this a brand new tool.


 

[IF you click on a link, and then it says to "Create a new page", do NOT do it, but click on "Home", or click on your "back button" on your browser to get back to the page you was viewing; what it means is that the link is dead, broken. Do not try to fix it; tell me about it and I'll try to fix it; all it might mean is that that part was formatted wrongly..., or that the link was not a real link, but just showing what something looks like, or is an example of something. etc...]

 

__(A)... How to Enter Notes into Pages__ ... (Editing Tips)

(These are my notes through trial & error, then finding the correct solution... More help links on the "Home" page.)

 

(1). You must SAVE your work, your editing, __every few minutes__. Click on the "Save" button only, ---nothing else, NO keyboard shortcuts...

 

(1a). For now, __please enclose ALL notes, stuff YOU Add __--inside of somebody else's work -- in Wavy Brackets {-like this-} ...

I'm not sure how all this will look when you folks being editing. [NO  NEED  TO  DO  THIS NOW... unless the other person requests you to...] 

 

(1b). Please SPELL Correctly all "__Page Titles__" WHEN you make a new page...

 

To Rename a Page Title:

Click on "View List of ALL Pages" or "Show all pages", find the page title and click on the "+" sign, at bottom of list, find rename box and make changes to title, then click rename. Done!

(When renaming a page, ALL links to it are broken; MUST go back and correct all links to the renamed page manually by hand. Always check the link by clicking on it to see if it goes where it's suppose to go.)

 

"Edit Page" only applies to the content of the present current page -the part you're reading now...

 

 

(1c). Text Size

 

This is regular typing into any page... (Font is like "Arial") [Now can choose between 6 different fonts]

 

(The following 6 lines shows the Headline Text Sizes) [NOT anymore; study the Menu entries above, when you are in edit mode...]

 

(1). Using 1 "!" = Largest font size... (Font is like "New Times Roman")

(2). Using 2 "!!" = Next to Largest font size...

(3). Using 3 "!!!" = Mediam font size...

(4). Using 4 "!!!!" = Next to Mediam font size...

(5). Using 5 "!!!!!" = Next to Smallest font size...
(6). Using 6 "!!!!!" = Smallest font size...

(B)... Requirements

 

(1). You must SAVE your work, your editing, every few minutes. Click on the "Save" button only, ---nothing else, NO keyboard shortcuts...

 

(2). MUST NOT give your Password out to anyone else. I will have a master list of who has a Password. If things begin to get out of hand, I can change the password, and lock you out from editing. (I'm NOT sure if this statement is entirely true.)

 

(3). All things you enter MUST be Christian, and appropriate to a church setting. Please be careful how you word things.

 

(4). Must have mutual respect for all.

 

(5). NO putting anyone down.

 

(6). Remember, the whole world can see what & how you --write, say, do, act.
